Sleepy~!

I always want to come out with an outstanding idea and concept that's different from others.

Every time i tried to avoid using the same ideas or concepts with my classmate.

And every time i tried to do something different from what i have did, but still trying to keep my own style.

It's actually hard and tiring. Sometimes, feel like giving up when i keep stuck at the same place.

Feel like my mind going to explode, seems like it didn't stop thinking at all even though i'm sleeping.

I knew i did fall asleep, but i knew i'm still thinking. I don't know how it works. But when i woke up, i just knew that my mind did think about all those issues and ideas while i'm sleeping.

And it's really tired.

But then, i'm very happy when my works are being appreciated by other after i putting in a lot of effort.

This is what make me keep going.

Still, sometime i'm very scared that my work can't reach my target and can't reach what other's aspect.

I wish that i can do better and better as time passing.

Recently?

Was busying with college projects and assignments for 1 month..

It's tiring~I have no time to sketch and paint , until yesterday, everything come to an end~

the first thing in my mind is sketch and paint! woohoo~

so..this is one of the paintings in progress..

her hair was shaded with red artline, and was brushed with water.

i love the colour effect! 

and some sketches that i did yesterday night. =D rabbits again..i love to sketch rabbit..

Wooden Necklace

This is a wooden necklace with my own illustration.

It's hand drawn by me~

I have this idea while i was doing my year 2 warm up project.

One of the groups used the real wood stick collect from road side to build their lamp.

They cut it into small pieces, and that inspired me!

This is the first one i did today afternoon immediately after i get the inspiration.

Booty from Melaka trip

Went to Melaka for 3 days 2 nights trip with buddies last Thursday.

It was a nice trip. I enjoyed a lot and had fun. 

We discovered a lot of vintage stuffs there.

A lot of them are at Jonker Street. By the way, there are a lot of old shop houses at Jonker Street.

During Friday and Saturday night, there are a lot of stalls at Jonker Street, it is like a pasar malam. But then, the environment is more comfortable. It is clean and not as hot as the pasar malam we usually visit.

TATA~here are my booty from Melaka.

I love these vintage illustrations the most. They are the advertisements that promotes cigarette, wine, insurance , etc.

I wonder are they the original one or replica one.

And this is the vintage style of coca-cola packaging. 

It's not the tin type, it's the glass bottle type~

We used to drink from the bottle last time when we are young. Now it's hard to get one.

But there are a lot in Melaka. There're also other drinks, but i love cola one.

And this is mahjong CARD~! it's card!

The night

It had been a long time i didn't update my blog.

I was busying with my projects. Year 1 was already not that easy, how about year 2 and final year?

But now, year 1 was over. WOOHOO~ it's holiday~!

Pulau Ketam

Currently busy with my college's project, which the title was "Human and Space"..

There's no defined final outcome for this project, which mean we can do anything we like as long as it's about the space that we choosed and it show how human interact in that space..

I choosed Pulau Ketam as my space, and i going to do a guide book using my own illustration..

here is one of the scene..In this scene, the stalls, humans and the shops will be a pop-up, still in progress..

大家都分开了，离开了我们原本的位子，一切都不一样了。

改变或许是好事，但我并不喜欢这样的改变，

大家都显得没怎样，只不过这样而已，

但对我而言，我还是不能接受，

Laziness

Bought Jimmy's book "Blinking Seconds" from book fair last sunday..
Today only start reading it..
In the last few pages, Jimmy said " if not because of the stress of the publication and the time, actually it's hard to drawing continuingly and vigorously."
I think this is true, it's the same case with me.
For me, i like to draw, but i like to draw slowly instead of hurry.
If doesn't have the due date, i think i will work for a long time to finish my work. same case with my project, i don't like to rush actually, but what to do?

But all of this is because of laziness? who knows..ha

see my work is damn slow! actually done re-edit it long time ago.the problem is the mood is not there to post yet..ha

hmm..does this look better than the previous two?
